Our Story
Chabad of Chatsworth was established in 2003, to serve the Jewish community of Chatsworth. Chabad of Chatsworth is a place where everyone is welcome, regardless of affiliation or prior level of knowledge. Its sole purpose is to create a warm, welcoming environment to explore and experience Judaism's warm and relevant spiritual inspirations in a non-judgmental and inviting atmosphere.
Since its inception, Chabad of Chatsworth strives to meet the needs of the community with religious services, and social events, as well as an array of programming including: preschool, Hebrew school, Jewish Learning Institute, Youth and adult activities, and more
Chabad of Chatsworth is a local, independent and financially self-supporting entity. Every dollar that we receive comes from the generosity of people like you. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and your donations are fully tax deductible.
Meet the Spritzer's
Rabbi Yossi & Necha Spritzer moved to Chatsworth and founded Chabad of Chatsworth in 2003.
Prior to moving to Chatsworth, Rabbi Yossi grew up in Brooklyn, NY before pursuing studies in Jewish thought and practice in Yeshiva, and received his rabbinical ordination. His infectious optimism and joyful personality drives his commitment and dedication to his community.
Necha was raised in Caracas Venezuela together with her family that run the Chabad in Venezuela until today and is a passionate educator, teaching classes for women, as well as educating her own 7 children KA"H. She also has exquisite taste which shines through all the events at Chabad she plans.
