At Chabad of Chatsworth Hebrew School, we are transforming the way children learn to read Hebrew through the innovative and internationally acclaimed Aleph Champion Program©.
Inspired by the motivational system used in martial arts, the program divides Hebrew reading skills into ten color-coded levels. Each level gives students a clear goal to work toward while helping them build confidence, fluency, and a genuine sense of achievement.
The Ten Aleph Champion Levels
Master the first 18 letters of the Aleph Bet.
Master all 32 letters of the Aleph Bet.
Master the first three vowels with letter combinations.
Master the first six vowels with letter combinations.
Master the first nine vowels with letter combinations.
Master all vowels and important exceptions to the rules.
Master reading familiar prayers and brachot.
Master reading important tefillot.
Master reading from the Siddur with increased fluency and speed.
Master reading more than 100 Hebrew words per minute.
